Jeff Phillips brings a unique depth of knowledge as a real estate advisor at William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty, thanks to a rich career that spans over a decade in hospitality and a lifelong connection to real estate as a second-generation Realtor®. After earning his degree from NYU’s Stern School of Business and working at Goldman Sachs Investment Banking Group, Jeff ventured into the hospitality industry, launching a highly regarded restaurant in New York’s West Village, celebrated by many as the “happiest place on earth.”

Originally from California’s Bay Area, Jeff’s diverse experiences from the coasts of Santa Cruz to the financial district of Manhattan have shaped his broad perspective. However, it was Litchfield County, Connecticut, that captured his heart. Since 2001, Jeff and his partner have cherished the area as a retreat from the city’s hustle, eventually making it their permanent home in 2009. This transition was marked by his involvement in opening the Community Table Restaurant in Washington, Connecticut, further deepening his ties to the community.

As a top Realtor, Jeff applies his extensive knowledge of Litchfield County’s luxury residential market, informed not just by his professional background but also by a true love for the area’s unique charm, from its local farms to the evolving landscape. Jeff’s extensive understanding of the local real estate market is unparalleled, and his intimate familiarity with every nook and cranny of Litchfield County distinguishes Jeff in the industry and makes him a top choice for clients looking to navigate the local real estate landscape. His background in business, coupled with his experience in hospitality, provides Jeff with a unique perspective on real estate, emphasizing customer service and community involvement.

Jeff is passionate about cars, California wines, cooking, and enjoys exploring nature. He loves to travel and is also an avid writer and photographer. Jeff expertly manages all facets of the real estate transaction process, with a curated focus on mid-century modern and architecturally significant homes, country estates, and antiques with provenance. A California native and NYU Finance graduate, Jeff has lived in Manhattan and currently resides in Warren, Connecticut.
